JSGH Newsletter – September 2021

September 2021 Issue: September 10th, 2021

Message from the President

Hello JSGH Members and Friends,I hope this message finds you well.  Summer has ended, and Fall has begun!  And it promises to be a busy season for JSGH.  In about a week, we’re going to have our Fall Picnic.  It should be great fun for everyone, featuring Obon dancing and even a taiko lesson, and a lot of great food.  See below for details, and we hope to see you there.

Also, next month we’ll be having a Japanese cultural performance at Blue Back Square in West Hartford: ‘Japan Visits the Square’, featuring a Koto performance, traditional folk tales, and a Taiko group from NYC!

Best Regards, Peter Watson

President, JSGH
