March 2021 Issue: March 11, 2021
Message from the President
Dear JSGH Members and Friends, I hope that this message finds you all well. I think that I can say that this March holds a lot of promise for all of us. The COVID situation in Connecticut is improving with lower infection rates and the increasing availability of the vaccines. And with the melted snow, we’re starting to get our first taste of Spring. The end of this long COVID winter is coming into sight! We have a collection of activities this month, but most notably, the first Japanese language courses organized by JSGH will start in just a few weeks. Hopefully this will be the first of many. Also, the Origami Party Nihongo Night on the 20th promises to be fun. It will be a great chance to socialize and learn to make some new origami. We hope to see you there! Sincerely, Peter Watson JSGH President |
