🌸 🌸 🌸 Enjoy CT Cherry Blossoms with JSGH 🌸 🌸 🌸

We’re very excited to be able to invite you to the second annual JSGH Hanami Picnic! !  Please join us for an afternoon of food, fun, and balloons.  The Friends of Gillette Castle will also be holding a public event near the castle at the same time (link), so we can enjoy both the cherry blossoms and their hospitality.  Hope to see you soon!

What: JSGH Hanami Picnic 2022

When:  April 24th (Sunday), 11am

Where: Goldfish Pond at Gillette Castle State Park  67 River Rd East Haddam, CT 06423

Cost: Free !!!   

Activities

Picnic:
Please bring lunch for yourself.  We’re also encouraging participants to bring things to share, so if you can please do!  Beverages will be provided. Please Bring Your Own Seating: Chairs, Blanket, etc… 

Balloon Twisting Activity:
Participants will be able to make some balloon creations. We will prepare the pumps and scissors,  but if you have your own, please bring. 

Parking
There’s limited parking near the Goldfish pond, but there is a lot more nearby at the main parking area.
